New Turning Center Continues to Expand Machining Capabilities

With the installation of a new Romi G 30 Turning Center, Madison-Smith continues to upgrade & expand machining capabilities. The rigid, heavy-duty G 30 is designed not only for the heavy stock removal you would expect from a 30 HP turning center, but also offers the flexibility of cutting parts 40” long on over 12.6” in diameter.

Ironmen Go The Extra Mile

With July being a busy month for plant shutdowns, Madison-Smith was working around the clock & through the weekends on many customer projects that were completed on-time, successfully & safely. Because of their dedication and willingness to put in the long hours, 15 M-S employees were awarded “Ironman” t-shirts to recognize their contributions.
Employees recognized were: Carlos Ballard, Alan Ballard, Jesse Basil, Duane Beckett, Kirk Carver, Mike Dempsey, Bobby Estes, Mark Friant, Jeremy Glass, David Houchens, Jerry Lee, Daniel Meadows, Eddie Poynter, Randall Saltsman, Alan Shaw, and Daniel Shipp.

For over 20 years, Madison-Smith’s fabrication shop has earned the reputation of providing customers with quality products & custom projects. With one of the area’s most complete fab facilities & continued upgrade of fabricating capabilities, M-S can deliver small shop jobs or large turn-key shop and field installation projects on schedule & under budget.
