In late October, Madison-Smith reached an agreement with Mallory Capacitors to purchase Mallory’s 45,000 square foot Glasgow facility.
With the purchase of the building and the adjoining 21 acres, Madison-Smith will be relocating to the new facility within the next few months.
Located at the intersection of Hwy 90 & the Veterans Outer Loop on the west side of Glasgow, the new location is convenient and easy to access. The 10-year old building offers increased shop floor space as well as larger office & parking areas.
Since it was founded in 1983, Madison-Smith Machine & Tool has grown steadily. The original 4000 square foot shop on the 31E Bypass has been expanded several times.
With 60 employees today, M-S has outgrown its present 30,000 sq. foot facility and there were no good options for expansion at the current location.
The timetable for the move isn’t finalized yet, but is expected to occur around the first of the year.

The new location will mean a nicer environment for our employees to work as well as allowing us to better utilize resources to serve our customers.
